I found an alpine meadow full of frigid shooting stars (Dodecatheon frigidum) on the north side of Mount Healy. The leaves are basal and spade shaped. The magenta colored flowers have five petals.

June 29 - Frigid Shooting Star
I found an alpine meadow full of frigid shooting stars (Dodecatheon frigidum) on the north side of Mount Healy. The leaves are basal and spade shaped. The magenta colored flowers have five petals.
